Despite the multiple limitations brought by the outbreak of the novel virus, today, May 5, project partners have gathered online in the framework of the Validation Workshop on the Preparation of the Training Curricula and Operational Guidelines to the benefit of the operators of the Italian and Romanian pilot Critical Infrastructures (CIs), as part of WP3 activities.
A key step before the purchase and distribution of the intervention kits, and in view of the joint training program and the live exercise to be held at each of the identified CIs, the workshop’s reason of being can be traced back to the presentation, discussion and validation of the content enclosed in the Training Curricula and Operational Guidelines, core activity at the heart of WP3.
The Workshop kicked off at 10 with the warm welcome of UNITOV and with SAFE breaking the ice and introducing the workshop. During the workshop, project partners have presented and validated both the drafted material and the operational guidelines (including the intervention model) which were followed by a brief discussion regarding the future purchase and distribution of the Intervention Kits.
RESIST partners are glad and proud to have achieved another important milestone in the creation of the first 10 CBRN intervention groups composed by public and private operators of the sector-specific CIs, trained and equipped to operate in contaminated environments.
