This Monday, November 23rd, RESIST was introduced by Project Director Silvia D’Adda at the EUprotect project webinar and then presented in full by project partner Karolina Muti from IAI.
Focusing on standardizing CBRN training for public and private operators of Critical Infrastructures in view of creating the first 10 CBRN intervention groups within project lifetime, trained and equipped to operate in contaminated environments, project RESIST shares with the EUprotect project the objective of further securing public spaces, although in the case of RESIST private spaces are also tackled, and increase resilience against CBRN events.
The event represented a great opportunity to discuss RESIST project objectives – including the video recently shot at the NBC school, Nubich Training Area, as part of WP4 (Pilot joint Training Programme) and involving Trenitalia as well as Rete Ferroviaria Italna personnel -, the status of progress, and future developments. Participants have shown great enthusiasm in the possibility of sharing knowledge and results between the two projects and so further opportunities for collaboration will not be lacking.
